Lerab Lingpa est l&amp;#039;un des principaux patriarches récents de la tradition Nyingmapa. Il étudia auprès de nombreux maîtres, parmi lesquels il convient de mentionner [[Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo]] (1820–1892), [[Kongtrül Rinpoche]] (1813–1899), [[Ju Mipham Rinpoche]] (1846-1912), et [[Dodrupchen Rinpoche]] ([[Tenpai Nyima]], 1865-1926). Dans la seconde partie de sa vie, il devint le maître Dzogchen de Sa Sainteté le 13e Dalaï Lama (Thubten Gyamsto, 1876-1933). &lt;br /&gt;
